Dash plaques are small, more-or-less credit-card-sized metal plates, usually with an adhesive backing, that are given out to participant vehicles in car shows or cruise-ins. Not all events give out dash plaques, and some give them only to the first x number of entrants.  Here are some that I’ve collected (so far):
